A Morning with Brother and Sister

Where has this week gone? I've been so busy with so many things, I can't believe we're wrapping up Thursday.... that we're wrapping up September.

This past weekend (yesterday in my world) I visited my girlfriend to take pictures of her beautiful babies... but babies no more. They have grown up to be the sweetest things you see before you. MJ was being such an attentive older brother; making sure his sister was comfortable and trying to make her smile and Markella, so beautiful w/ her perfect blond curls and her shy (I'll do it my way) personality. Loving these two.

And of course, I had to sneak one in of Jossy...

Meet Troy w/ Special Guest Josslyn

This is my nephew Troy... isn't he stinken' cute!

Josslyn only gets to see Troy occasionally as he lives in a neighboring state. They are 1 month apart with Josslyn being the oldest. The next time we see him, he will have grown some more.... so I'm very happy I was able to capture him at this moment.

BTW~ you can find more adorable pictures here...

A Day by Golden Gate Bridge~ Baker Beach

This past weekend we took Josslyn to the beach for her very first time. I envisioned running in the sand and chasing the waves but it was nothing of the sort. The water was freezing, plus the moment Josslyn felt the sand with her feet and the unsteadiness of it, she wanted no part of it. So she sat with her bucket and played with the sand instead. Which was just as cute!

At The Moment...

What's 16 months, dances to every tune, likes to ride our dogs as horses and sneaks out the doggy door for freedom? This one...

And then we line them up and kiss each one down the line.

Orch'a Glad You're Here

It's crazy how many times I pass by these orchards and never really took notice. There are hundreds of them in the area I live in and it wasn't until this past Friday evening that I actually stopped my car and started snapping. They really are beautiful..

The orchard Josslyn is in, is directly across the street from the Target I shop at (and have been to MILLIONS of times). Aspiring to be a photographer really does open your eyes to your surroundings.
